The first of the year is when everyone is super motivated. You have it all planned out how you’re going to network more, produce more content, start cooking more and go to the gym five days a week. This all sounds great during the first few weeks of the year but sooner or later life starts getting in the way.
Family obligations start interfering and unexpected situations at work start to pop up as well. It’s not that you’re doing anything wrong; it’s just that life happens. No matter how well we prepare at the beginning of the year, life seems to take twists and turns that we just can’t predict. That doesn’t mean that we should throw our goals in the trash, it just means that we may need to make adjustments on the way to achieving our goals.
The main problem that most of us run into is that we spread ourselves too thin. There is nothing wrong with being super ambitious but there are only 24 hours in the day, so unless you plan on working around the clock it’s going to be tough. But there are a few ways to combat the trials and tribulations that arise throughout the year.
One thing you can do is exactly what I just stated; work around the clock with no sleep. I don’t know how long you’ll be able to keep that up but it’s always an option. Next, you could hire an employee or more employees (if you already have some on payroll). This is the most popular option, that’s if your budget will allow it. Hiring employees come with many additional costs that can really cut into your profits. The most practical solution and one that some entrepreneurs don’t even consider is a hiring virtual assistant company.
When you hire a virtual assistant company you’ll have access to a team of professionals with an array of skill sets. You won’t have to worry about employee taxes, workers compensation, and insurance, but most importantly you won’t have to pay for hours that your employees aren’t actually working on tasks.
