It’s time to start incorporating more video into your marketing efforts. In case you have been living under a rock, video marketing is a hot topic. YouTube and other video hosting outlets have made it extremely easy to get your message out to people all over the world.
Video is the one of most accepted form of communication. This probably isn’t shocking to anyone; we all know that people don’t read as much as they used to. If you want to figure out how to do something today, you’d probably check YouTube before anything else.
When I was in college, I had an old car and the water pump needed to be replaced. I wasn’t a mechanic by any stretch of the imagination so I purchased a book from the auto parts store that showed me how to do minor repairs to my car. Today I couldn’t imagine purchasing a book to do that. Just out of curiosity, I clicked on YouTube to see what I could find about replacing a water pump and tons of videos popped up.
Video has changed the way we do business today. Companies understand that if they want to grow their clientele, they have to build long lasting relationships and gain people’s trust. Video opens doors that can’t be always unlocked through words alone. It allows potential clients to not only hear your message but to also have a visual connection.
The most important thing to remember about video is consistency. It’s unrealistic to expect a big shift if you’re sporadic with your video production. Make sure that you are posting videos on a regular basis and that it is informative or helpful to your audience.
